Travel Agency Marketing Ideas – MDS approached Love Creative Marketing, travel agency promotional agency with the request to support a huge Promotion Campaign they had planned for Valentine’s Day in order to promote the flight line between UK and Las Vegas.
This promotion was based on a huge installation in Kings Cross in London. The stand showed a giant Las Vegas Sign and a life sized Check in Desk of an airport terminal. On Valentine’s Day two Competitions took place. The aim of the first competition was to win a race against the time. Selected people were asked to get their Partner to the check in desk as soon as possible in order to win one out of ten trips for two to Las Vegas. The fastest would win. The second game was a social media competition. People were encouraged to post a picture of themselves with their Valentine on Twitter Instagram or Facebook including the #Lovevegas and the handle @Virginatlantic. Out f all pictures one lucky winner would be selected to win a trip for two to Las Vegas.
Love Creative Marketing supplied trained promo staff in order to generate attention and create a buzz. Our promotional staff distributed Flyers explaining the social media competition and encourage people to take part in the competition. Also, they were responsible for selecting people to take part in the race against the time. Handing out LoveHearts to all passengers in the station throughout the day ensured a positive customer experience and the awareness for the company. In addition to this activity it was the job of the promotional staff was to encourage people to take pictures with the Las Vegas Show girls on location in front of the huge Las Vegas sign.
